I love creating for the heck of it. There is so much freedom in knowing you don’t have to create anything that can be commodified. And also a great freedom in not having to worry about whether anyone will find it to be any good. However, there is also no money in that, so back to real work for me very soon but it won’t mean the end of my creating. It’s just something I have to do to be able to get up in the morning with purpose. Sometimes I wish it would go away, but I’d probably be inconsolable if that actually happened.
