Day 15 (Part 1): Pun Man Two - Girls Just Wanna Hear Puns

Part of the Laughing Horse Free Fringe, unsurprisingly this is totally free, 7.45pm @ Espionage. 

Bit of a theme this week, but the night started with some dumplings, then four of us headed down to catch Leo Kerse dazzle us with some puns. I’ll make it clear at the outset, there were two camps in this group - two puns lovers who often converse in puns - and two pun sympathisers who take no real pleasure from them but can appreciate that the other two quite like them.

The show started strongly, and I caught myself laughing even when I felt like I really shouldn’t. Pun Mans quick wit shone through in everything he was talking about, and his on the spot pun-making was really quite impressive.

Not sure it needed a full hour as it started to lose steam after the 40 minute mark, but it’s probably the most I’ve seen a crowd laugh at the Fringe this year.

Talented guy, and very enjoyable show. It’s not all rubbish jokes.
