The program pup.funmoods pertains to the adware Funmoods Toolbar that provides the user with a wide selection of smileys that can be attached to instant messages and other postings. This browser add-on automatically changes the homepage settings and redirects search queries to sites and services that its built-in search engine supports. It slows down the Internet connection due the popups and banner advertising that it serves, and has spyware components that track and record browsing activities.
