To be honest, the whole situation was beyond weird. When they received Steve’s distress signal and arrived at his location, the last thing he expected to see was a large humanoid wolf creature in a Captain America uniform, having the same fur as Steve’s blonde mane of hair. He wasn’t hostile towards him, and they soon realised that this was in fact Steve that they were staring at, and didn’t protest his transfer back to the Mansion for the obvious tests as to what happened and how they would reverse the effects.

Tony had stayed with him to keep him company, not sure if Steve still understood him, but the desire to try out scratching him was bothering him way too much to let it go. When he gathered the courage, his hands reached behind the large, fluffy ears and he scratched him, looking out for his reaction.

“You like that Winghead?“, he asked as he carried on a bit faster, eyes widening at the waddling tail behind him.
