@pupmusebox sent - Beel had some help with things when having asked of his buddy Ryuji before making that quiet attempt of getting something neat for him, for one it was a good bundle of the various ramens he had back at home and with his older brother Mammon offering to get the ramen it was a good one. By devil he was trying to not bite into the ramen gift while even asking of getting a fangol jersey made for his friend.
Awkward when he shifted from one foot to the other while loaded down with ramen and the shirt draped over his shoulder in a clear bag to keep it nice, "Umm… Happy Birthday Ryuji, I got you something. Hope you like ramen since, mrmm! I have a lot here from where I'm from and don't worry it's safe for humans to eat. Heheh, also… here…" holding out the personalized fangol jersey to him while surprising his new human buddy with something cool and how he didn't munch on the ramen either surprise to say.
"I know humans have short lives compared to us demons but… I hope this birthday is a memorable one for you, much like how it be for me when uhh… trying to figure out what to get you." sheepish when he smiled before buzzing a little when recalling one more gift when digging for a bag, "I do have a one more thing too when trying to figure out another gift, I asked my big brother Levi for help with the little sports gear for this little guy. My brother is a wonder when making little outfits and all, say hi to Devilcat. Heheh, cute sporty guy isn't he? I wanted to make it a memorable birthday for a dear friend, that's if you don't mind me calling you a friend… eheh." holding out said Devilcat plushie that had various sport items and cool uniforms with it while making more buzzing noises but very happy.
( Ryuji's Birthday 2024 - Accepting! )
Ryuji hadn't really expected to receive any gifts or even a visit from Beel on his birthday at all - his birthday had been off to a considerably quiet start so far, waking up to a card and a new video game from his Ma on the counter as well as a container of homemade ramen awaiting him in the fridge. School had been similarly uneventful with many of his classmates and teachers not knowing or caring it was even his birthday, which was fine by him. He'd contemplated stopping on the way home to get takeout but the thought of the homemade ramen had led him home, instead.
He'd been lying on his bed quietly watching YouTube videos before Beel had arrived and although surprised to see him, he'd opened the door with a smile and invited Beel in - his eyes immediately darting to the bag full of goodies but not wanting to presume it was all for him just yet. "Thanks, dude! You bet I like ramen - I just think it's the greatest," He jokes, gratefully accepting the ramen and setting it to the side. "This jersey is for me...?" His eyes widen as the jersey looked to be customized and not something you'd find in any sports store. Holding it up he couldn't stop the smile on his face. "Thanks, man!"
He'd expected that to be the last of his gifts but it seemed Beel had one more surprise in mind and as Beel told him about his brother and whipped out the little Devilcat plushie, he couldn't hide his excitement at seeing it. "Man, you'll have to thank your bro, Levi, for putting this together! I'm super grateful to him - and to you!" He laughs, gingerly accepting the little cat, nodding his head vigorously and immediately. "Man, of course you and I are friends - and I know that being a human I'm probably just a blip for you - but it means that a lot that you dropped by and gave me so many goodies - in terms of having a memorable birthday, I'd definitely say mission accomplished - this has been an awesome birthday," He smiles, affection and gratitude emitting from him with every word.
"Now, what d'you say to trying some of this ramen with me? I want to see what ramen from your world is like!"
