Eventually when we purchase something new there's a honeymoon period. There's the period when the excitement of a new product makes us keep everything in order. We organize the receipt somewhere safe, put the receipt in a place we can find and start to use our new gadget. And then there's after the honeymoon period. When the product inevitably breaks.
And we are on the phone with customer service and they ask for all sorts things we don't remember. Product keys, serial numbers, dates of purchase, purchase locations, and many more
Everyone has a flashback of being on their hands and knees digging for receipts an product boxes. If there's an app for everything, shouldn't there be one that tracks this stuff?
