Frank, I work with children, and they often say inappropriate things that are extremely funny. If I laugh at these things, I will only reinforce their behavior, which their parents do not like. How can I avoid laughing when I hear little children say swear words, and what should I say to them instead of laughing? Thank you and much love.
The last time I heard a 2-year-old say a bad word I told him that I knew a lot of words, and he should ask me to teach him some!
He had a lot of trouble understanding this concept, but it worked for me.
