There was a noise that Hinata thought he heard, a squeak if you may ( or as Hinata would put it, an “IWWEE,” whatever that means) .
It was a sound that didn’t even come out of his own mouth, but it was so high-pitched that he even made a sound ( a loud “Uwaaoh” ). The book he had in his hand flew high in the air, then landed on his head with a ‘pom,’ followed by an ‘aff’ from himself. He swiped the book away from his face and looked all directions to see what in the name of koi it could’ve been.
And in the corner, he saw someone that seemed scared? Scared of what? Was there someone that was attacking—whoever that was? He shivered slightly, but decided to put up a brave front, and crept a few steps forward. Slowly. Slowly. Take it slowly.
❛ W-what’s going on? …Hello? ❜ he looked over the girl, who seemed small and frail. His curious brown hues showed that he was just as nervous as she was. Which was interesting to say the least, as he was only scared because of the high-pitched squeak.
❛ Did you see a ghost? Y-you’re so pale! ❜ he was too, but that’s okay.
