I was lucky to catch the subtle colours of the sunrise with this much cloud coverage! . As the sun rose over the farm, I couldn’t help but notice the corn stalks from an earlier crop of corn laying on the field. These rows of corn were already combined and their grain used for animal feed. . Often, leftover corn stalks will be left on the ground as residue to be used as soil and plant food for the next growing season. These plant pieces will decompose and release nutrients into the soil. The corn that is still left to harvest will be combined and sold for animal feed, made into ethanol and made into household items like shampoo, corn chips and deodorant. . Corn has a variety of sugars and starches inside the kernels that make it a great crop that can be used in a variety of products. @goodineverygrain . #sponsored #goodineverygrain #farmland #instanature #farmingphotography #farmtheme #farmvibes #farmastagram #farmstyles #exploreeverything #canadiancreatives #discoveron #yourstodiscover #nikonca #agriculture #agripics #agriculture_global #agriculturelife #profotoglobal #agricultureworldwide #farmingphotos #profotob1x #profoto_canada #education #exploreCanada #pureontario #ontario360 #torontoclx #discoverOntario (at Cayuga, Ontario)
