no but can you imagine how much of an epitome of free will it would be if the finale drove everything towards end!verse and then sam and dean tore the script again and decided not to kill eachother

dean is the new cain so he's destined to kill his brother and sam will always end up being lucifer so he's destined to kill dean. what if they both decided to go against that

omg do you think cas will die in the finale? :O

i don’t think he will because it would be incredibly stupid of everyone in the show to kill him off. most, if not all of the fanbase agrees that spn without cas would be nothing now. not nothing because seasons 1-3 were something but team free will would be one member short and that would make no sense. my theories for the finale are:

dean’s eyes turn black or he enters a devil’s trap and can’t get out

the consequence of the mark of cain that cain never got to say finally comes up and either they have some sealed fate that created a cliffhanger or abaddon comes back due to some loophole

they make it seem like metatron killed cas (which would explain why none of them has clearly said cas isn’t dying)

metatron makes cas kill dean or the other way around (this is the season of parallels so why not a crypt scene one?)

aDAM COMES BACK (pffffft who am i kidding)

crowley turns full human

gadreel kills metatron or metatron deceives gadreel back into his side and the poor misunderstood baby is fooled into killing again

heaven vs hell again aka metatron vs abaddon (if she comes back) or crowley

dean realizes he’s gone too far down the snuff-all-the-pathos-it’s-purgatory-again alley and gets away from sam and cas to stop himself from hurting them and either dean or sam and cas get captured by metatron/demon-commander-in-chief/the new baddie

whoa these are a lot of theories, i didn’t mean for this to get this long. but so far nothing indicates that the finale will be around Sam so these are the only ones i can think of now. short version: either cas is staying or the writers completely forgot they have a fanbase who influences stuff. and brains.
