Singer Simple Sewing Machine Review
I recently received a new Singer machine just for my birthday. This is my first sewing machine, although I have used the 1970 Singer of my mother and my grandmother 1950 Singer. On a purely aesthetic note, the machine is very interesting, very sleek and modern. Its size is perfectly suited to my needs: I am a college student, so I do not have much space - I keep it in a wheelie case sewing machine under my desk when not in use - for its smallness is a great help. I do not require many stitches as I like hand sewing and embroidery to suit the machine, as he was sixteen stitches, only a few that are simple with just decorative. The regular presser foot, as well as a button sewing foot, zipper foot, and a button-up holes. (The manual gives instructions for the use of other, buyable, feet, as the foot and the foot of lace lingerie.) A few additional coils are provided, and a box of four needles and a seam- quickly. I probably will not buy the extra legs as he seems to cope well with the football. I use generally have had some problems with the machine. For one thing, while I'm glad it was oiled occasionally oils my bobbin thread, which stains the fabric. I have no idea why this happens - it work perfectly for a moment and spit oil on this side. Also, I just tried the automatic button-hole, and ended with a big ball of tight satin stitch twice and a buttonhole good time.requires a machine that is easily moved from the work surface. The machine is fairly easy to handle and seems fairly robust.
