Radio!

I'm back on Purple Radio from 10-11pm (GMT) tonight! I play spoken word pieces, music I love, and read pieces of poetry and prose. 

I am so proud of this show, and would love for you to tune in via the website.

I just finished presenting my fifth show for the student radio station - Purple Radio - and it went really well :) I'm getting the hang of all the equipment, had a guest on (an extremely talented poet called Maddy) and did a show handover. Now I'm back in my room, sitting at my perfectly sized desk about to watch some TV on my computer before bed. 

Life is good and I am happy.

Square Eyes 2.0!

Hola amigos, and welcome to Square Eyes 2.0! Square Eyes began back in Autumn 2013, as a show on Durham Uni's Purple Radio, playing the very best music from TV soundtracks. Square Eyes 2.0 is a reboot of that show as a Tumblr dedicated to all things TV - news, reviews, recaps, fanart, fanmixes, fanfic -  the works! As well as posting and reblogging general TV stuff regularly, Square Eyes also runs some weekly features:

Wednesdays - Sound & Vision  Rebooting the original Purple Radio series that started Square Eyes, S&V celebrates the brilliant moments when TV and music come together perfectly. Each week we take on a different theme, and post the tracks and clips here.

Fridays - Fandom Fridays Posting the best fanwork around - be it art, mixes, fanfic, whatever! Sundays - Summer Screen It’s summer, you’re looking for a new show to get into, but you’re not sure what… let Square Eyes help you out with recommendations and recaps so you can jump right into a new favourite show. When the new season of shows starts later this year, we will also be adding regular recaps of Doctor Who, Supernatural and Scandal to our line-up, along with reviews of the new freshman shows.
