#vrene #hadesandpersephoneinspired .. credit for Bgm to YT Memento Mori ..lol I’ve calmed down enough from the recent excitement to create this clip 🤣🤣 If you don’t already know the story of hades and Persephone ..I’ll give you a very very brief run down🤣..ok so hades is the god of the underworld and Persephone is the daughter of Demeter, Goddess of Grain and Agriculture. So some stories differ but basically Hades ventures outside the underworld and sees Persephone and immediately falls in love. He concocts a plan to steal Persephone away while her mother is away ..his plan succeeds and whisks Persephone off to his world ..The goddess Demeter finds out and is distraught. Crops die, animals die, and Zeus enters the picture because he saw the imminent doom of all of humanity if Demeter continues to mourn the loss of her daughter.. Zeus agrees to bring back Persephone on the grounds that she does not eat or drink anything from the underworld .. Demeter retrieves her daughter only to find out that Persephone wants to stay with hades because she fell in love with him and had eaten 6 pomegranate seeds during her stay in the underworld. Demeter is furious because she thinks Hades tricked Persephone and in order to appease both parties Zeus orders Persephone to spend 6 months of the year with her mother and the other 6 in the underworld ..thus the changing seasons.
