08.09 - “Frantic” - Today I wanted to do a quick look that conveyed how stressed I was feeling this morning. My day’s a little off-schedule and adjusting to that was apparently too much for my brain to handle. Anywho! If I had more time I think I could’ve achieved something nebular in appearance. As it stands, I think the “too bright to actually be discreet” masque turned out just fine. 07.28 - “Denifall” - In case you cannot tell, I am jonesing for some sweater weather. I woke up very early today and proceeded to put off doing anything of consequence. (Fingers crossed for a meaningful evening.) Anyway, on to the lewk! I knew I wanted to go for this shape with these two colors today, but I almost switched things up upon making the fun discovery that the golden orange color looks really nice on its own. I’ll have to build another look around it that showcases its standalone strength later on in the challenge. I was going to stick with just the brown on my lips, but I felt they were a little disconnected from the eyes. Hence the attempt at layering on an orange tint! It’s a rushed look, but I feel the choice of colors still works very well together. I wouldn’t mind recreating it with a bit more attention/intention in the future. So I got bored and decided to do my makeup and practice some different techniques and products. I "tried" to do a #cutcrease, probably looks terrible but hopefully I'll get better lol and I used some of the items I mentioned in my 'October Favourites' post on the blog, so be sure to go and check it out.
