Swing from the chandelier
An angsty otayuri AU with wttm-clothes and Sia's epic chandelier-swinging. Like tomorrow doesn't exist. Over tonight, over tonight, over tonight... Uh DEAR.

TAYLOR JANZEN : PUSH IT DOWN
Taylor Janzen returns with new single ‘Push It Down’
Twenty-one year old Winnipeg singer-songwriter Taylor Janzen is reemerging with ‘Push it Down’, the glossy, unhinged, necessary cathartic anthem of our post-quarantine summer out now on Glassnote Records.
Melodically peppy, but lyrically cynical, ‘Push It Down’ highlights Taylor’s experience of feeling stuck and faking her way through a depressive episode, while simultaneously on display to her peers; something many can relate to as the world returns to socialisation post-pandemic.
Taylor explains, “Writing ‘Push It Down’ felt like the mental reset I’ve long needed... although in hindsight I wasn't ready for one at the time. It came together by myself in my room — about my rapidly declining mental health amidst my quarantine-induced brain fog — then immediately put it away and forgot about it.
“The song is about grasping at anything to feel better, and in the process enabling all my unhealthy tendencies... things like not taking accountability when I’m wrong, impulsive behaviours, isolating myself, refusing to do things that are good for me. A behaviour that is unsustainable.”
