BACK to SNACK - Skateboarding 1: Pushing off
Pushing off is how you get moving:
1. Place your front foot on the board, just behind the front trucks. Put your rear foot on the ground, next to the board.
2. Kick your rear foot backward in a smooth movement to get moving. Use your arms to help keep your balance on the board.
3. As your rear foot completes its kick, twist your front foot so that it lies across the board. Bring your back foot onto the board and get into your stance.
