We are approaching towards the 541st incarnation ceremony of Shri Vallabh - Ācharya, also known as Shri Mahaprabhuji. Acharya Ji is the pioneer of Pushtimarg, the path of grace. Many people ask this question in context with his philosophy: Even you do Lala’s Pooja daily and don’t worship any other Gods? To answer this question, today seems to be a really good to have an interaction. There are two types of systems in Sanātan Dharma. 1. Bahu-Dev-Upāsana & 2. Ek-Dev-Upāsana. The first one involves worshipping a set of Gods in which one of them shall be considered to be the main deity. The latter focuses on worshiping one God, in our case of Path of Grace is Lord Krushna, (also known as Shrinathji, Bal Krushna, Brahma). The entire ecosystem revolves around one Lord and he doesn’t like his own devotees hovering around the world for materialistic wants and begging or asking other Gods for small favours every now and then. When the creator, manager and destroyer of the universe is right in front of you, you have all the authority and responsibility to take care of him and in return all you are getting is spiritual bliss. What’s the need of going to other Gods and Goddesses it’s not about the need l. It’s about your choice. Shri Mahaprabhuji plays an important role to guide us to believe in one Lord. For him, for his generations and for us it’s Lord Krushna. If you believe the same, you don’t need to worship any else. Does that mean you disrespect? No. Not at all. All Gods and goddesses are spiritually higher than you, they should be respected under any circumstances. Shri Mahaprabhuji is never against respecting other Gods and Goddesses. Respect All, Worship one! That’s the beautiful ideology and philosophy which he propagates. Does that mean we can insult any Gods or worship any other Gods? Answer is a complete no.
