It’s good to remember that big babies turn into big adults one day. What you reinforce when they are young can impact their behavior as adults. This young antelope had to be hand reared to survive. He is also starting to be mouthy and pushy around people. Time to teach him “manners” now by reinforcing a more desirable behavior to present around people. Physically pushing back usually creates more arousal with many hoof stock species, especially young males. Instead the focus here is just some nice quick repetitive targeting. This can evolve into more behaviors, like stationing for duration, and of course cooperation in medical care.
