Its that time of day already.

Annyira büszke vagyok a macskámra, ezt el kell mondanom nektek. Szóval Pussers igazából egy Kaliforniai repper sztori, valószínűleg az utcán született, és már amikor a haverék kertjébe lopakodott kajáért, már akkor is egy antiszociális agresszív kis pöcs volt, de jaj nézd a kis fejét, olyan cuki, a Bear megtartotta. Persze mivel más cicákkal összeférhetetlen, rövidesen nálunk, mint még cicátlan párnál kötött ki az állat, azóta is minden nap körberajongjuk, pedig amúgy igazán nem érdemli meg, még a kis dobozát is elvéti minden második alkalommal, én meg kaparhatom az odaszáradt szart a parkettáról. Anyway. Pussers kinti macska, fontos neki, hogy mindig, mindenhol érzékeltesse a jelenlétét, mert roppant egy territoriális dög. Meg még vadászni is remekül tud: Brixtonban minden nap hozta nekünk a békát, egeret, baszomnagy pókokat, rendre még mindig élve, szerintem imádta hallgatni ahogy káromkodunk. Na de most eléggé kibasztunk vele, mert az új lakásban nincs kert, de még a szomszednál sincs, ráadásul a harmadikon lakunk. Hetekig feküdt letargiában, hogy most mégis mi a faszt csináljon, ő nem fog a drágán vásárolt cicajátékokkal játszani, mint a plebs. Aztán pár napja rájött, hogy az ablakból direkt elérhetősége nyílik a King's Cross-i tetősztrádára, na és azóta ilyen igazi urban smooth criminal, úgy parkúrozik az ablakpárkányokon és ereszeken mint a rajzfilmekben. Ma ezeket hozta be, az első egyes zónás zsákmányait. Hát ezen még dolgozni kell.

Painkiller

The first rum drink I ever loved (with Pusser's Gunpowder Proof, despite its- deservedly- tarnished reputation being the first rum I loved). I am perennially amused by how often I try to talk about the drink and have to specify that I do not, in fact, mean opioids. Just alcohol, a perfect substance which has never hurt anyone ever, no sirree.

1 1/2 oz Pusser's Gunpowder Proof (you've got to use Pusser's, it's copyrighted, they will sue you. I would like to assure the Pusser's Corporation that I have never once used El Dorado instead and that if I had, I would not have kind of liked it a little better)

3 oz pineapple juice (Trader Joe's Cold Pressed)

3/4 oz orange juice (Trader Joe's, I prefer it to fresh, deal with it)

1/2 oz cream of coconut (Coco Reàl)

Dash bitters (Bittermens 'Elemakule Tiki)

1/4 oz overproof (Plantation OFTD)

Shake all ingredients other than overproof with ice, pour over crushed ice. Float overproof, garnish with nutmeg.

Absolute sugar bomb, no point in denying it, but it's still a drink with a pleasant backbone. Sometimes you want something sweet.
