Having a drink

When Katakura Kojuurou made a promise to someone, he always kept it, even if it was an offhanded mention of a drink to a fellow samurai. He'd managed to find some higher quality sake than the usual fare, and a set of cups. The meeting would probably prove to be less low-key than he'd intended, but the mild night would be no less pleasant. And somehow, they'd even managed to get some sakura trees, though he would always wonder how that had come about... The petals flurried off the tree as a breeze swept across its branches, and for a moment, closing his eyes, it felt like home.

Smiling to himself, he poured the three servings of sake, and glanced towards the path. The other two would be arriving at any moment, no doubt... Unless they'd already managed to get into a fight again.
