The point is, with all that equipment- it's going to go to your head." - John Oliver The lack of accountability for police brutality has only fueled the tensions between law enforcement and black communities. It is so blatant, I almost believe that it's the agenda of some in positions of power.

This is a complement to @mikesklar post... it's reaching epidemic proportions now in my opinion. Every month there seems to be a new incident involving police using deadly force on unarmed black citizens. If it takes the fame and popularity of various athletes to put and end to these unjust murders I'm all for it.

"lined her own womb with cement to make a graveyard for our children." -Audre Lourde Unfortunately this is the case for so many black mothers. Whether it is in the form of black-on-black violence or police brutality, to many young black men are dying in the name of violence.
