Attempting some Hedwig therapy to banish this (definitely not COVID) illness. It won't do anything physically, but emotionally, it goes a long way. #PutOnSomeMakeup #AndTurnUpTheTapeDeck ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #trans #transgirl #girlslikeus #lgbtq #lgbtqpride #lesbian #transisbeautiful #thisiswhattranslookslike #myface https://www.instagram.com/p/CDl9zxwnzmE/?igshid=gi6rjgpnrk44
Hello lovlies! Friday night I was able to go see my absoute favorite musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch. It was amazing! My cousin and I went for her birthday and I couldnt be happier. We payed for tickets that were in the balcony but when we got there. The lady that was going to give us our tickets said she had something better. We later found out, our new seats were on the main floor right in the center.Luckily we were back far enough that we didnt get carwashed.
The night went so well. As a newer fan to Hedwig, I think that every actor does a phenomonal job. Darren Criss, Neil Patrick Harris, Taye Diggs, John Cameron Mitchell and all the others bring their own take on Hedwig and all that she is. Its actually thanks to Darren Criss that I was introduced to this beautiful show. I was kind of nervous as to how Euan Morton and Hannah Corneau would portray Yatvik and Hedwig. Trust me I was not disapponted. Euan was in every shape and form the perfect Hedwig. He portrayed the character so well. Hannah was bloody fantastic. Her vocals were downright amazing and id definitly love to see any other projects she does in the future.
I couldnt stop smiling the whole night. The part that really touched me was the ending when Hedwig sings Midnight Radio. There was a kind of magic in the room that you can only feel when you’re in the audience. I’m not going to lie it got me choked up. As a young woman who’s been trying to find her place in the world. Hedwig is a show i relate too on many levels. Its nice getting to see Hedwig finally come to terms with who she really is. All in all it was a night, I’ll never forget. For any of you who havent been introduced to this amazing show. I suggest you look into it. I’m so thankful for Darren Criss being able to introduce me to this show. Hope you are doing well! <3
