Soup called escudella i carn d’olla in Catalonia and putxero i pilotes or caldo i pilotes in the Valencian Country.
It’s a typical winter dish in the Catalan Countries and the first course eaten for the Christmas dinner. Each person has a dish with the soup (only the broth and galets pasta), while two plates are placed at the centre of the table. One plate contains vegetables and legumes, and the other one different kinds of meat, so each person can put to their dishes what they like.
