out of character; I feel like you wanna hear something about over-protective dad mood but I can’t offer that… marcus can be very protective of the people he loves, but he also believes deeply in ‘learning from one’s experiences’. so he would react completely normal and level-headed if she would tell him about a boyfriend. ask some questions about him and how they met. and even if he isn’t too happy with her choice, he would still think that as long as it won’t get abusive in any shape or form, she will learn from it? does that make sense? he would still keep a close eye on the guy, to catch signs of violence etc. but yeah, he won’t get crazy. conversations about that topic could get a little awkward though, just because he is not quite sure what kind of questions to ask? so if she won’t tell him more on her own, he would either let their conversation fade out or he would change the topic rather quickly.
