Puzzlemin Mini comic, facial expressions, and Halloween fanart

Benjamin is a writer, so his hands tend to cramp up a lot.

Benjamin has an animated face, so he doesn't use PNG faces like Mr. Puzzles, but the textures and variations behind the face change depending on his mood. ^^

The buffering is his version of when a person with adhd randomly blacks out when talking to someone. And the horror face mainly pops up whenever he gets mad enough, just like Mr. Puzzles

OK BACKSTORY ON THIS. This is from literally the DAY before I moved out of my dorm so it's a few months old lmfao. BUUUT, in my silly story - Riley is friends with Meggy and Mr. Puzzles is afraid that if Riley mentions him Meggy will spill everything about him that Riley doesn't know. You know, mind-control, manipulation, awful awful shit. Soo he's like super panicked about it. This is like, a short clip- I had a WHOLE animatic planned for this song mashup by Clem Turner but I just never got around to it. So here's the rough draft I did in my sketchbook and turned into a video just to see how it'd come across. I really like it but honestly I don't know if I'll finish it. Let me know if you guys want me to! <3

Woah Riley and Mr Puzzles' animatic, but it actually has to do with their lore and the story I wrote for them?!?! Anyhoo, let me know if you guys want me to actually FINISH this and potentially color it and what not. :3 So, long story short - after Riley fixes up the television man and finds out it's a guy - she takes pity on him and lets him stay as long as he pitches in on rent and cleaning up while she's at work. She makes vague comments about how once upon a time she'd dreamed of being an actor. He tries to convince her - tell her since he was a director (and desperately in need of actors) he could get her name out there. She denies it, saying she has found peace in living a mundane life and enjoying her job as an engineer. His decision instead is to drag her into his movies when she goes to sleep - making her experience horror after horror and often in situations where she ends up dying. When the movie/show ends and she wakes, he would wander in as if he hadn't been the cause of it and convince her it was just a dream. Eventually, one of those movies goes viral and becomes famous. It's how she finds out what he did - she - who had no idea of his powers, basically throws him out in disgust and anger. He cannot see what he's done so wrong, he gave her the dream she wanted so badly once, he believes she should be thanking him for such a deed. Of course, with fame comes publicity and events. Journalists and interviewers beg for him to get Riley to an event or to an interview but he makes up excuses each time. She gets an invite to a big event - so does he - deciding he couldn't give up his best actor he comes back to the apartment. Entering to find half of the person Riley used to be - now quiet, depressed, a mere husk of the lively go-getter woman she was. He tries to convince her to come with him - when he fails he resorts to his final option. Wiping her memory. Sooo this is the scene in which he comes crawling back to try and get her to attend the event - WILLINGLY - knowing full well she'll be there whether she wanted to or not.

The song lowkey reminded of how I am planning on / have written Riley during the PuzzleVision arc as she's literally like: hey where is half of my memories gone? That's concerning! Also, 'carnival barking.' C'mon now, she's a little dog, I simply had to. Anyyyhoo, I plan on doing the beginning of this scene as well as the cool spin at the end - this is simply a little peak of the clip :3
