Puzzlewood, UK. Used in a lot of filming, Doctor Who, Merlin, Star Wars. A lovely place. Easy to get lost but beautiful all the same.

Okay so today I started watching S4 of the Witcher and immediately thought the woods looked familiar.

Yeah. Puzzle wood aka the woods used for Merlin several times.

Next thing. Now I'm watching The chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

The Castle Courtyard of the Telmarines looked familiar. like extremely familiar.

Yeah. The Castle is based on Pierrefonds aka Camelot.

I am so deep into Merlin that I can't watch anything without immediately noticing such things.

Magical walk around Puzzlewood and Cannop Pond in the Forest Of Dean today! So much wildlife on display including Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers, and Mandarin Ducks!

Movies such as Star Wars The Force Awakens and Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows were filmed at Puzzlewood, it's a very unique and inspiring place indeed! 🌳🦆🐦🏞

TIL that England has a temperate rainforest and that right now it is full of those little spirits I remember from Princess Mononoke movie (kodama). Puzzlewood sounds like way better place to live than reality this morning.
