We get to the final business owning family in Bluewater Village. The Ramirez family owns a furniture store. With their daughter in school, they now have enough time to run the business.
Yo what the hell Checo!?
I fixed this right away. Now Ray will get a reasonably fair wage.
Not only was she their first customer, but she always reviewed the business.
Their business is doing so well!
Good job Lisa!
Checo and Lisa both have a power want for Tessa to be accepted into Private School. I had Lisa learn cooking.
Why yes we do!
When I was younger, I used to always cheat and by the most expensive furniture just to impress this man. Now I just clean the place, replace the floor tiles and furniture to something nicer, and make sure to feed him well and smooch schmooze him. (Smooching worked too once lol)
6 minutes is plenty of time I realized.
All I did was just change their floor tiles btw.
Here are the final results. While the food could have been better, Checo did have some luck with his schmoozing.
Thus fulfilling their power wants.
Liza found an opening in the medical career. Not only did she have a want for it, but it is also her lifetime want. Normally I change the lifetime wants to fit their personality/personal wants, but I found this to be destiny.
And that is it for the Ramirez family! They’re pretty chill to play with, and I can tell all three of them are ambitious. Would be fun to play with them more in the future!
Bonus:
If Checo does not convince this man, then Tessa will take manners into her own hands >:)
The Dreamer family is like a calm before the storm household for me. They are chill, relaxed, and easy to play. Their drama is mild compared to the other Sims, hence why I like to see them as a breather type of household. So here we are, the Dreamer family.
Darren is a single father. He has a teenage son named Dirk who is trying to become an overachiever. Darren lost his wife in a house fire prior to the game's story, so he's been slowing moving on. He is in love with his best friend Cassandra and trying to win her with his art. Unfortunately for Darren, Cassandra married Don, so now he is a sad painter man.
The conflict of this family is that they are not doing well financially. They are behind on bills and the only source of income is Darren's paintings. So Darren needs to paint to bring in some money.
Dirk rolled a want to get a job. Despite how talented his dad is, he cannot risk falling much more behind on their bills. So here we have Dirk looking for a job on the computer.
Out of the five options, I have him choose the intelligence career. It suited him in my honest opinion. Hopefully his job will help a bit with the bills.
Dirk also has a want to make out with Lilith, his girlfriend. Lilith is a rebellious goth girl, so her relationship with overachiever Dirk is interesting.
I really love them together since I feel they bring out the best in each other. I had him invite Lilith over for a quick make out, then he went to work.
I went for a still life painting for Darren. Dirk went to work, so he had no one to do a portrait of. Besides, the portrait painting has you standing there for hours so it can be very frustrating.
Great job Dirk! That should also help out with the bills.
Yes, he is currently painting because he is sad that you’re married now.
Once again there is a fire at the Dreamer house. Luckily, the firefighters came on time and saved Dirk from sharing his mother’s fate.
At last, Darren completed his still life painting. It was not much but it was enough to pay off the bills. Thanks to Dirk’s job, the family has a bit more money to spend.
And that is the end of the Dreamer round. Not a lot happened in this family, but that was fine for me since it was such a breather round, you know, despite the fire. I tend to like having these types of chill households in between chaotic ones. And yes, our next family will be chaotic.
I love this image. I imagine them celebrating them inheriting the bakery.
The Jacquets consist of Denise Jacquet and her adult son, Gilbert. Denise is a recent widow, as her husband Yves passed before the story begins. Gilbert inherited Yves’ bakery, and now both plan to keep it running. So we will be focusing mostly on the bakery.
Damn, the game just started. Remember when I mentioned the wage thing in the Landgraab round?
Gilbert did have a crush on Trina. Unfortunately since he did not pay her well, that lost the attraction. For now.
Despite losing Trina, the business does gain a rank.
The rest of the business run was pretty uneventful. However, we did get a shock in the end when Trina arrived to the lot.
Gilbert and Trina patched up their relationship and Trina was hired again. This time, she is being paid averagely.
I had them head home and rest for a bit. Gilbert wanted to invite his crush Breanna Custer over.
Despite being a Romance Sim and Breanna being a Knowledge Sim, the two of them have some chemistry together.
They can be cute together, ngl.
That was pretty much it for the Jacquet family. I love the bakery business, since it is pretty simple. It helps that Denise is a great cook and can make most of the goods.
