Over the time living together we have become good friends, but the longer it passes the harder is gets to stay cordial, especially when Liberty and I keep the bunker a float while Akira and Ulrike fool around. And Cat avoids us all, understandably.

The patio's ceiling is not helping with the heat, but on the plus side, the lighting under the intense sun is impresive It hard to explain how much we value that bit of sunshine, it has been worth the risk we took adding the skylight to the patio

Temperatures are raising fast. "The Cave", as we are calling the new space downstairs, is the fresher part of the bunker, but is still too small. In my smartest move I've recommended a ceiling fan and to avoid the use of the oven for a while, while focusing on low impact exercise and other activities that won't overheat us or the bunker.

*sigh* You have to be controlling everything we do, don't you, silly cat?

Cleo is right about one thing though, the bunker is a noisy place, without much escape, and no matter how much we expand, it's still crowed.

It's getting hot. Layers are coming off off, summer cloths are out of storage ready to use. We don't know how hard this season may get, but we are prepared. We continue building skills and the funds that come with many of them. Nectar making takes time, but fresh produce and canning offer quick income when we need it. We also continue selling some handmade furniture, and the vet serums Cat has learned to prepare, plus the revenue from my published songs.
