luna sighed to herself as she uneasily scrolled through her flooded mentions on twitter. by now, the news about her new boyfriend had gone viral. except the new boyfriend everyone was going crazy about wasn’t harley. instead, it was some random guy that her manager had sent her on a date with as part of a publicity stunt. luna was still trying to make it big and the guy was much more well known than she was. it was bound to get her more attention. she stared blankly at the very seemingly affectionate photos that had surfaced from the paparazzi and all she could think about was what harley’s reaction would be. he didn’t know anything about this and she couldn’t even think of a valid reason why she didn’t tell him. it wasn’t that big of a deal, was it? it was all fake. she slowly opened the door to his apartment and peered inside, though once she caught a glimpse of him her eyes fell straight to the floor. “ i promise you it’s not what it looks like, harls. “ the blonde shut the door gently behind her. just when it seemed like things were finally going right with them, another thing came up to get between their relationship.

bentley wasn't really the type to go on trips and such unless he had to. at first he wasn't sure if he should even go or not until he was told that it would be where the other was that he had been talking to for a while -- so he was glad to go. wanting it to be a surpise he wasn't going to tell them anything but of course he couldn't keep his mouth shut for that long so once he had arrived there, making his way to his hotel he texted them telling them saying something along the lines that he was where they lived and maybe hang out later --- not caring how tired he was considering he had just got off a plane a few hours ago and the time difference. but he was alright with it as long as it meant he could see the other and enjoy their company until he had to go back home in a few weeks or so.

CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF, dee wasn’t a big fan of big events like the one she was at. she had a tendancy to be pretty anxious ( no thanks to the things she endured as a child, and her ex boyfriend ), and the hustle and bustle of the people around her never really helped. the bellezza glanced around, taking in all of the people ------- people who surely believed the stronzate that the media spewed about her. it seemed like everybody did. and because of that, the sliver of her self confidence that was left intact after leaving her childhood home in which she was abused by her father, was torn to shreds. she tried to be one of those people who didn’t care about what others say about her, but she just couldn’t. 

she made her way through the tightly-packed abundance of party-goers, making sure not to step on her own black dress as she murmured a few excuse me and pardon me's ( though it was doubtful that they heard her or even acknowledged her, really ) before she found herself at the bar that the party offered. she very, very rarely drank, for the mere thought of alcohol was ruined for her as it was the one thing that tainted her father's blood as he took her drunken rage out on her when she was a child, but this was a special occasion and she figured one drink couldn't hurt. she didn't even notice the tall, handsome man sitting next to her ( okay, maybe she did but pretended not to so she didn't draw attention to herself ) as she asked the bar tender for a drink. ❝ some party, hm ? ❞ she finally said to him after a while, bringing the brim of her glass to her lips after her drink was brought to her. god, could she be any more cliché ?

THE ALCOHOL MASKS the overall heartache of rejection, a smile playing on her lips as she embraces some stranger on the makeshift dance floor. this isn’t indigo. this is self-destruction. she murmurs to them that she’ll be right back, she just needs another drink. it’s a miracle that she makes it to the kitchen without falling over herself. it’s quieter here, less people around, and the music is muffled. she doesn’t reach for another drink and instead opts for her hands touching the cool countertop. that’s when she sees them. indigo freezes in her spot for a moment before the callous side of her takes over, turning in the other direction to finally fix herself another drink.

          it was not the first time that he left her by herself. she could recount the times she sat on the concrete sidewalk by his apartment building. or the time she sat alone at a restaurant table for a good hour before he rushed in with his apologies. now, in the corner of a buzzing coffee shop, it was no different. she could still count those instances on a single hand   —   perhaps the reason why she decided to prop her elbows up on the table, resting her chin in both of her palms as she peeked outside. it wouldn’t hurt, right ?  to wait a mere five minutes, to see whether he had simply been running late once again. perhaps he needed to cancel at the last minute, and would she feel her phone buzzing in her back pocket any second. her gaze lingered, finding that she would count the cars that passed by, noted the people that crossed the street. she was distracted once she noticed the presence of another standing by her table. ocean blue hues flickered in their direction, a little hope flickering in her gaze. she did not have to bother curving her lips into a smile, because the person stood by her was not exactly the person she expected to see. no   —   she was face to face with their sibling, instead.   “ oh, hey !  ”   she greeted them, nodding in the direction of the empty seat in an invitation to sit, if they wanted to.   “ s’been a while. um   —   how’ve you been ?  ”

another one of her failed auditions, at the rate she’s going she might not ever make it in the acting world.  luckily a few blocks down from the venue was one of the most popular spots in los angeles, so she’s decided to try her luck and make herself feel better there.  the bar was beautiful, she could already feel her mood getting somewhat better.  ‘  for now a moscow mule then something stronger.  ’  she smiles slightly at the bartender, but then turns her attention down at her fingers that were tapping away at the bar.  no matter what happy thoughts she tried to think as she was at the bar, there was nothing worse than being rejected at an audition.   /   𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐎𝐑  @pvrachute
