you would think that mary jane watson is a pretty memorable name – the kind of name fit for a broadway marquee.

     but, apparently, her name ( and her      playing jasmine in aladdin, for christ's       sake ! ) aren’t memorable enough.

Her head hurts. Not because she’s insanely hungover ( she’d prefer that ), rather she has no clue what’s going on. A seemingly SIMPLE case has turned into Pandora’s fucking box, and Jess just wants to sit in this bar by herself and forget about it for a few hours. She’s just about to take a swig from the glass when someone sits next to her, which is ODD considering the place is pretty much empty. Jess can only assume this means they’re planning on making CONVERSATION, which is not on her to-do list tonight. “ I’ve had crazy up to my eyeballs today, and I’m trying to drink in peace.     It was true that Gotham was always a dark city - not on an aesthetic level no, but the aura their citizens had around them. It was tiring, to say the least, to be always surrounded by negativity, boredom, sadness, and anger. it’s like a curse - as soon as someone steps ONE FOOT into the town, all positive feelings fly away.
