sejun always relished in these little moments, just getting to be close to jovan. it wasn’t easy, given the fact that technically they shouldn’t have even had this relationship to begin with, but the day he’d first laid eyes on the younger boy he’d been weak for him in an instant. consequences be damned, he wasn’t going to let circumstance and status stand int he way of something so precious, even if there was the risk of a bullet between his eyes one day. “nothing’s going to happen to me, jovan,” he murmured, giving the younger a gentle squeeze. he leaned down, his lips brushing against the boy’s forehead in a featherlight kiss. “i said it before, and i’ll say it again; no matter what happens, i’m not leaving you. i swore to always stay by your side, and i meant it.”
sejun’s been doing an amazing job at keeping jovan safe. he knew that he could rely on the older male as he trusted the other with his life – of course, that was literally what sejun was assigned to do, but he had fallen in love with his bodyguard. it was very risky and he was being selfish – he chose love instead of the guaranteed safety of the other. they’re glued together most of the day, it was as though they’re practically married, but precious times like these when they’re allowed to be vulnerable to each other and be in each other’s arms, it was priceless. sejun’s words made his heart skip a beat and he exhaled a shaky breath. “i’m just scared, i know what my dad’s capable of and i just – don’t want you to get hurt because of me.” jovan tucked his nose in the crook of the man’s neck, lips pressing soft kisses against his skin, his breath warm against sejun’s neck. “i don’t know what i’d do without you.”
