Wanna hear a secret? Those last screenshots of gen 6 are from March and I haven’t opened the save since. *le gasp* But I figured, since it’s officially over now on the blog too, I should go on with gen 6, at least a little bit. So today, I guess, I will spend the evening by moving everyone to a new save and setting things up. Partially why I decided to make it that Regan should move away from Sunset Valley was because this save is awful. It takes over an hour to load, it’s slow and it crashes way more than any other of my saves. Besides, I think I’m over this Sunset Valley nostalgia. Before I had a simblr, I always played either in Sunset Valley or Moonlight Falls, and I wanted to remember those times. But now I’m tired of SV again. Any guesses where we’ll be going? I won’t confirm or deny anything, also it might not be as exciting as you might think. And no, it’s not Moonlight Falls.

This summer belongs to BPR. Finally! I’ve been playing that save for almost a year now and you haven’t seen anything. Well, to be fair, saying I’ve been playing it for a year is a lie - I played it last summer, then stopped in September and picked it up again this March. I didn’t touch it for months. But I gave it a chance again and decided to continue. Gen 1 is kinda meh but I love my gen 2 heir. She’s a mess. (which is what I say about all my favourite sims because guess what, I have a type or something)
I don’t know how long that will run, it’ll be interrupted a few times by the thing that I’ll officially start tomorrow, but when gen 1 of BPR is posted, I’ll switch back to TS4 again. It’s been a while since you’ve last seen Sunset and Dawn, huh? And Ross and Caleb...though they’re not around as much anymore because it’s not their generation, but they’re still really fun when they appear. Ross almost made my cry the last time I played. No spoilers or anything.
TL;DR: Haven’t played Roses for months, will fix that. Keep your eyes on my blog tomorrow. BPR will start posting after that. Then I’ll post NSB. Happy summer y’all. <3

Exactly. And even when she saw Nerine wasn’t perfect and had some bad personality traits, she still ignored that because she loved her that much. On another hand, are we really surprised Regan let that all happen? It was her first love that worked out somehow.
No way, simmeronnie is doing replies again? :o It’s been a month, I know. It’s been hard, exams and all that. I’ve talked about that a lot. Now I’m in so much better place. I’ve read what I wrote in my diary a few months ago (February and March to be exact) and wow...just wow. If you compare me from now to me from those months, you wouldn’t even believe we’re the same person. Right now, I’m the happiest I’ve been in a while. Back then, I’m honestly surprised I didn’t give up. I was so tired of everything.
Onto something else. I thought I’d catch up on a lot of blogs now that my graduation is done, but actually, I got carried away reading a good book (and therefore I didn’t actually catch up on too many blogs). Guys, you all need to read Illuminae. I finished the trillogy today and man, it was so good. Don’t get intimidated by how big the books are, yesterday I read over 400 pages and I didn’t even know how. It’s just so good. Read it. Seriously. I hope you like a good plot twist because these books are full of them. It’ll leave you speechless.
I’m just excited I can read books that have nothing to do with exams again, okay? Tomorrow I’m starting...I’m not sure. Probably The Burning Maze by Rick Riordan. FINALLY.
Anyway, blog stuff. I thought I’d only do the latest replies since my activity feed was broken, but now I was able to scroll down a lot. I wasn’t paying attention and suddenly I was at comments from April. So yeah, that thing I screamed about this week, apparently it’s fixed itself. I can’t explain how I felt writing this. I’m not too empathetic when it comes to other people (and it sucks), but when it comes to “ok how would my character feel in this scene”, I’m immediately in their shoes, and let me tell you, I actually cried, even though I knew damn well how it was going to end. But I also knew what was happening next, and that’s why I cried too. Writing is weird sometimes.

I’m just now thinking, how the hell did I go from the first story idea for Regan to this. In the original story, there were no creepy psycho mermaid girlfriends. There was...a lot of Bridgeport...some cheating...a lot of guilty feelings...more feelings towards Courtney...Felix didn’t end up with her in that storyline but there would be a love triangle with another person...and considering I’m not actually the biggest fan of love triangles, I as a writer am glad I somehow ended up with a psycho mermaid girlfriend story. It was way more interesting to figure out and write.
But if Regan could decide, I’m pretty sure she’d rather end up in a love triangle 😬
Let me tease you though: There’ll still be a lot of Bridgeport later.

So yeah this was the post where I kind of figured out something seems off... if I'm not mistaken there were also posts where George warns her but I didn't think much of them
One of the things I enjoy doing when I finish the first draft of something is going back and making hints. Tiny little pieces of foreshadowing. And then it grows and grows and gets more obvious. This was never going to end well. I think I already hinted at it when Regan was saying goodbye to her family before going to Isla Paradiso, though I’m not sure. But I think I left first little clues there.

No, all jokes and dumb remarks aside, when I wrote Regan in this brainwashed state, it was so hard. Not that writing was hard, handling my feelings was hard. I knew she was hurting everyone and I had to keep going because I wanted to tell this story. Like I said, writing is weird sometimes.
Also, speaking of wizards...how convenient it is that her brother is one now? :D Which actually...I didn’t plan for him to become a wizard just to save her. I didn’t plan for him to befriend a fairy just to save her either. It just all sort of happened. Just like life, huh? Can we just take a moment to appreciate Miracle for everything she’s gone through? She was “unwanted” at school because she was half alien, she had to share a room with an awful bully at university, then when that hell was over, she became a mother to six children, and now this...when I think of all that has happened, I realize how strong she actually is, because none of this made her give up.
I’ve had so many issues with her story, but looking at her from this perspective, maybe I shouldn’t have.

When you’re reading this, it’s already after my prom. However, when I’m writing this, it’s the night before my prom, I’m freaking out and I’m listening to some Christmas music to calm down. Don’t judge me, okay? I’m not one of those “November = Christmas” people but I like to listen to Christmas songs early. I’ll start decorating by the end of this month. And buying gifts, too. End of November sounds nice.

I Feel Like If His Parents Let Him Be With Caleb Then He Would Be Open About The Alien Baby Then Ross Would Never Have Went And Attempted To Seduce Everyone In Sight And Happier Ending But This Challenge Is This Way
My “theory”/”explanation”/idk how to call it because I’m tired is similar to yours. I’ll try to explain it somehow because honestly...would I miss the opportunity to talk about my characters? Watch out for a super long essay! :D
Let’s take it from the beginning. At first Ross was just kind of this child obsessed with his “cool vampire friend”. He adored him. When he aged up into a teenager, he went and started dating Carol, his classmate and a good friend. They were the same age and knew each other for a while so...yeah. It wasn’t that hard. I don’t think Ross had any romantic feelings for Caleb at that point just yet. Strong feelings, definitely, but not romantic.
Anyway, fast forward to Caleb getting abducted by aliens because I have no self control. I think that even though Caleb liked Ross a lot, they were best friends, they always had a great time and everything, he knew Ross can be shallow and bit of a dick. Which is why he decided to avoid him for a while. That however almost ruined their friendship, as we’ve also seen.
The feelings most likely started changing at the beginning of gen 2 when they started hanging out again - before drifting apart once more when Ross found out about Stella. During those dark high school times, Ross had this mindset that he wanted to date someone, find the “one true love” as one may call it. He didn’t know who exactly he wanted so he just went and tried all his options...but he was looking for something, someone specific. He was missing Caleb, even though he was also mad at him for keeping secrets and not trusting him. Now, I’m not trying to defend Ross. I would never defend him for this. He was confused and he missed Caleb, okay, cool. Well Ross, guess what, you can miss someone but that doesn’t give you the right to date a million people at once.
Ross then tried to move on when things got more serious with Jordan, but something still didn’t feel right, and then there was Marika who only made this indecisivity worse, and then things turned out the way they did. (I actually believe Ross and Jordan could have been in a happy relationship if it wasn’t for her.) And then Ross started talking to Caleb again and boom the feelings were back and even stronger and it was just a matter of time until he finally realized. Basically. As for Caleb’s point of view, well, I think it’s still too soon to talk about that and this is getting long anyway.
I wouldn’t necessarily blame Ross’s parents for all of this, though they obviously play some role in it as well. Let’s be real, Ross was an only child for a long time and a pretty spoiled one...hadn’t he been so spoiled, he would’ve probably grown up to be a better person, Caleb would’ve trusted him et cetera.
Wow, this turned into quite a rambling, I’m sorry. These are the kind of things I think but at the same time don’t think about, it’s more like a feeling, and writing it down, it gets long. Aaand now I definitely didn’t make sense. I hate myself. Don’t let me do this when I should go to bed, I’m really really tired. Why do I do this to myself.

Everybody but him...and me. Yeah. I started shipping them around this scene. I didn’t really think about it before that, in fact at that point I didn’t even know what I wanted to do next romance-wise for Ross. Once I was sure I wanted them to get together, I went back to edit the dialogue a little bit, throw a hint here and there...and I realized that I didn’t even have to edit it too much. I already wrote him pretty much like he’s kind of crushing on him without knowing he’s crushing on him. So like...I hate to say it but I’m just as oblivious as him. That’s concerning. Or maybe I just got so into his character, which is just as concerning.

I guess the Grim Reaper is still an animal lover. I loved that about him in TS3. It was one of the few things that made pets dying bearable, the way Grim greeted them with open arms and hugs.

I’ve been feeling a little meh about my blog and everything lately, though that might just be another result of me being very stressed out these days. It’s less than two weeks until my prom. Oh, yeah, here in my country we usually have senior proms during months from October to February. Mine is in the beginning of November. I’m actually going to some of my former classmates’ proms as well, this Saturday and then in December, and who knows, I might throw some more in. My anxious ass will hate me for this when the date comes closer. I apparently like to suffer.
I’m also going to an eye doctor tomorrow and I’m a little scared. I haven’t been there for a while and I think my eyesight got worse. But hey, whether it actually got worse or not, I’ll have new glasses. That’s good. I need new ones.
As for the blog, I’ve been slowly but surely working on Roses again. Gen 6. It’s kind of a lot at the moment but I’m just out of practice, I guess. There’s too many sims in the household. The high school story, well...chapter three is coming soon and I’d like to get two more out until the end of 2018. Not sure if I’ll be able to do that after all but I’ll try. I care about that story and its characters way more than I should but what else is new. I know that for you, it’s probably not the most exciting thing ever but listen...some of the dialogues are my best work, okay? Give it a try.

She is! I can’t help but compare kids from this legacy to kids from my other sims 4 legacy. Here, they’re almost perfect the way they’re born. Truth to be told, in my Raven Legacy, I had to edit everyone a lot before showing them to the world. If I had said something else, I probably lied.

I kinda feel like Tyler and Ross would have been besties
I was thinking about this a lot because they’re similar in many ways but...I’m not sure. Tyler is just messing with his friends. He likes joking around. I’m not saying it’s the right thing to do, actually I think this is very insensitive and selfish of him. I can’t stand him in this chapter. Anyway, he’s just kidding. He kind of counts on the fact that no one takes him seriously because he’s been the “class clown” ever since he can remember and so he can do whatever he wants (breaking news Tyler, you can’t). He would never ever actually cheat on anyone though.
Ross on the other hand...he was cheating on everyone and he knew it and he didn’t feel bad about it - for most of the time, at least. I’m not trying to make excuses for Tyler, he is an ass, I’m not gonna say he’s not, but compared to Ross, he’s just a goof who doesn’t think about consequences of his dumb jokes.

New legacy...maybe. I’ve randomly started a BPR. Let me tell you, it was not love at first sight. I loved the sims I’d created, but when I played it for the first time, it was all a little too much and I kind of wanted to die. Yesterday I opened the save again and I wasn’t as bitter anymore. I actually kind of liked playing it, I did this storyline kinda thing I wanted to do, I have the first child of the next generation...and I’m an indecisive mess so am I going to continue? Am I going to abandon it? I DON’T KNOW AND I’D LIKE TO KNOW.
Ending an old legacy? Possibly. I can’t stand the lag. My game clearly doesn’t want me to play Ravens. I moved them to a new save and the lag is still awful. I’m not sure what the problem is here. My NSB save runs almost perfectly. So...yeah. I’m getting tired of that. I don’t want to end it just yet but really, it’s not fun at all. At least I finished gen 3, so it’s not like I would be ending it in the middle of a generation. It still sucks though and I think I’ll try one more time.
As for NSB and Roses, I haven’t actually played Roses at all since I finished gen 5, but I’m playing NSB a lot, I’m almost done with gen 2. But as for Roses, it’s all about planning. You know (or, well, twitter knows) that the high school means a lot to me. I really do love writing it, getting to know the characters again and giving them the story they deserve. Now if only I could be bothered to take the screenshots too. Welp.
TL;DR: I might be starting a rainbowcy. I might be ending Ravens. I’m playing a lot of NSB and planning a lot of Roses.

There’s a “story” behind that...I noticed that for some reason, they had almost no relationship and weren’t even dating. I’m not sure what went wrong, but let’s say I took advantage of it and we finally have a picture of their first kiss! (even though technically it is not their first kiss, but that’s just a small insignificant detail, what matters is the first kiss animation :D)

That neighborhood really does bring out the vampires! I remember playing a save in that neighborhood and saw all of the vampires out at that time. It's like "guys... don't you have something else you could be doing?"

It’s been a while since my last replies! Anyway, my summer holiday has started and life is great. Well...I had a major gen 4 crisis, but more on that later.
Speaking of my legacies, something new and exciting is starting this week! It might even be my favourite save to play right now...I mean, it’s most definitely the most fun thing I’ve ever done in ts4. Prepare for mess. Like a lot of mess. Double portion of the usual simmeronnie mess, and trust me, it only gets worse.
I also finished gen 3 of Ravens and I’m planning gen 6 of Roses. I think I’ll start it focusing on the quads, then I’ll switch to the twins...and most importantly, to Regan. I already love this generation so much and I have a good feeling about these guys.
Anyway, replies now. By the way, I just know my activity feed isn’t showing them all. I can see some of them are missing. I remember reading some more. Rude, tumblr, very rude.

Literally the only thing that keeps me away from making her the heir alongside Regan is the fact that we would have yet another redhaired heir and I want some change. I don’t have anything against redheads, my hair actually looks kind of red now because the dye washed out...and I’m considering actually dying it red because it’s not so bad...but this legacy has wayyyy too many redheads already!
I’m kind of busy now and I won’t be at home for most of June, so weird things might happen to the queue. Don’t panic guys, it’s no big deal, but I just want you to know that maybe there will be one more tiny break before I finally finish gen 5. O.o poor miracle
I’ll be honest with you guys, I saw it coming because I checked it with MasterController...but still, when she actually gave birth to them and I realized there really are four babies and I have to play with them now, I was quite shocked and unsure what to do too.

In one of my families, they had quadruplets 3 times and 3 pairs of twins, two pairs of triplets and 2 single babies.
And I thought four toddlers were bad
