No, Prompto had just gone missing. That’s what woke him. He derived a comfort from his friends sleeping nearby, and he must’ve subconsciously panicked. Or something.

He dragged himself out of the tent, wrapped in his sleeping bag, to find his best friend sitting a way aways, back to him. “Prompto, what are you doing? Are you okay?”

Prompto comes up behind Nyx and gently wraps small arms around his boyfriend. He's tired, but all smiles as he nuzzles into Nyx's warmth, content to merely stand there with him pressed close together.
