“Hey.” Anna said with a soft smile as she walked up to the man, the ex-boyfriend. It had been a little awkward at first when they both arrived at this little party her family and friends organised but she was glad he rolled with it. “Thanks for not spilling the beans yet.” Anna offered him a red plastic cup with beer in it “I know it’s weird but my family would be devastated if they found out the truth, they like you too much.” The brunette chuckled and rolled her eyes playfully. Somehow it did not feel strained to be next to him, to be laughing and enjoying their time. No matter why they broke up - she still loved him. She still considered him as ‘HERS’ even if he no longer did “---so, see any pretty ladies you might want me to introduce to you?” Anna asked as she turned to look at the backyard full of lanterns, christmas lights, white sheets-ghosts and her friends who were having fun.
