“so did you bring a date, or do i get a dance with you?” aiden asked, finally having found boone after a little while of searching. the two still had a lot to talk about, a lot to discuss; aiden felt like their friendship had been strained recently but he didn’t know why. he was determined to find out, and if boone insisted it was nothing then he was going to have to start acting like it, because he didn’t want to lose his best friend. “you look amazing, b. handsomest person here, for sure.”

kondor had asked ariel to speak with andrew, tell him that the noble was sick and request that he come and see him. he knew that the other was a busy man, especially now with his wedding only a few days away, but he was sick and wanted nothing more than to see the person that never failed to make him feel better. besides, he was only getting worse and he felt like he was dying a slow and painful death; if he was going to die, there were things he refused to leave unsaid. the sound of the door caused him to wake with a start, raising his head only slightly to see who had entered, “enders...” kondor practically wheezed, grimacing in pain as he moved to push himself up. “you came.”

“You requested to speak to me?” Harley asked as he finally found Andrew, a smirk forming on his lips as he reached out to pull him away from the crowd, to a quiet forgotten corner of the club he’d gotten to know well whilst ensuring the setup of the entertainment. “Tell me, is it your sexuality that’s a secret to your betrothed, or just the fact that you’re sleeping around? I guess it could be both. How beautifully sinful.”

“You scrub up well, Enders.” A rare sighting of a smile threatened to tug at the corner of his lips as he looked over the soon-to-be King. It was strange, to think of the man marrying Saylor Zander, but Kondor was lucky enough to hold enough power in his family to say no to marriage and it be heard. His stubbornness always won out, above all else. “You’re busy recently.” The closest thing to i miss you that the other would ever get, “Would you like to drink with me?”

“Boone?” Aiden called out, knowing he was late to meet the other but he had to deliver his research first. “I’m sorry I’m late I had... well, I had to take care of something. All’s sorted now, and we can just have a fun night, yeah?” He asked, thought he was still talking to thin air as the he loitered in the mans doorway. When he finally came into view, Aiden had to struggle to keep his jaw from falling open as a small chuckle escaped his lips, “You look amazing, the ladies will be all over you tonight, B. Come on, let’s go before we miss anymore? I’ll buy you a couple drinks to make up for being a little late.” It was no more than ten minutes late, but Aiden was always punctual, to everything. It wasn’t really known for him to be late to anything.

Kondor was getting angry now. He wasn’t known for his calm nature, that was for sure, but the anger that was taking over his body was almost uncontrollable. He found himself interrogating suspects, the complete lack of information angering him more and more until he was covering a man in high-pressured water hard enough to leave marks upon his body all whilst freezing him from the feet upwards so that he couldn’t move. “Tell me what you know, or I swear to Poseidon this water will turn scalding and I’ll boil you alive.” Kon threatened harshly, uncaring for the scene that he was creating. He heard his name, though it sounded as if it was coming from leagues away and he couldn’t bring himself to stop when his anger was flaring up. The sound came again, and suddenly he recognised who was speaking to him; newly-married Andrew. It should calm him that it was Enders there, but the thought of the fact that his ex-lover had just married and was going to become King angered him more. The duty he had to the merfolk had taken away his chance of being with the man again... and whoever this new interest was. “What?! We need answers, this is the only way to get them.” He growled, not relenting in his interrogation.

If someone needs to be done, punctual. You don’t get anything done waiting around. But being late to a party or pausing to look at some flowers or a pretty dress in a shop window. That is always fun.

😍 - Your character’s lust object just passed right by them. How awkward do they get as they try to make conversation?

The most awkward a person can be. He has been in the dad world for way too long. Even when he sees a beautiful woman he doesn’t know what to do. Maybe start talking about cake or some weird kind of tree around them.
