a sentimental project by Annabelle, CatCreature on YouTube, that I found myself relating to. Although the technique and materials used for her work are analogue ones, I thought about including this in the journal because the media that I accessed to view her piece was digital. There are many struggles for artists online, an important one being problems of their art being reposted without credit, and it must be an goal of digital platforms to make sure these issues will be overcome; still I feel incredibly lucky to have such widespread and limitless access to art from anyone from anywhere. It is truly the blessing of digital culture and art.
