HE STANDS IN UTMOST SILENCE, purple gaze lifted to the skies where a strew of beautiful, luminescent lights linger within the starry night above. to say it wasn't a fantastical display would be an outright lie, though the expression on his face is anything but impressed, as if he can almost see right through the majesty right beyond their fingertips. in a way, it's as if he's disillusioned, even when the lights shift into customized displays that go beyond one's own imagination.

and someone isn't too far from him, likely staring up at the multitude of scenes that unfold before them. he does not gaze at who it is, though he does elect to speak.

❝ ... this isn't the true Aurora Borealis, is it? ❞ not like the one he has seen back on earth time and again when those of the night call for his care, at the very least. ❝ Just some phenomena by our 'captors' to placate us. Not unless they've a way to alter it for someone's 'own flair' to be added to it like I've seen being charged for. ❞

Sunday glanced down at the paper in his hand, re-reading the information portrayed there. "Townhouse 202". He looked up again, making sure that this was the correct place before walking closer to the door. He didn't know what to expect from Spirale, but decided to embrace it as best as he could. Sunday had been practicing letting go of controlling every aspect in his life, and being thrown into an unknown world alone was definitely… something.

So he walked in, looking around to see what they had on said townhouse and ended up stopping in front of what would be his door. Just a few days ago he was seeing his new bedroom on the Astral Express and adjusting to it, and now one more time he was getting to know his new room.

He went in, looking at the currently empty walls and sighed. Just when he heard a sound outside that he decided to walk out, to greet whomever was his roommate. Surprisingly, it was a familiar face.

"… Miss Firefly?"

Sunday held nothing against her, but thought she might not feel the same. After all, he had been the enemy before, and he had put her integrity at risk.

𝄞 Wasn't that...? Robin wasn't bold enough to grab the woman's arm without permission, so she settled with calling out "Excuse me! Miss Firefly?" instead. Technically the two had never met, but this Stellaron Hunter had apparently been instrumental in helping Penacony deal with its crisis. All of the reports had landed in her hands after the fact, photos and all.

"You are Miss Firefly, right?" Robin didn't ask to confirm so much as she asked to give the woman an out. She understood that the Stellaron Hunters valued discretion, so if she didn't want to be identified then she would respectfully let her leave. "If you aren't then I apologize. You just look an awful lot like someone that I owe a debt to. But unfortunately, I've never met her before!"

❍ "Have you ever seen a dragon before, Miss Firefly? Even in Amphoreus they aren't a common sight, but this one is a special case." Castorice watched her cat-sized Netherwing look up at the two women from the cafe table. It had only been a coincidence that they'd ended up talking, and they were unaware of the connections that they shared just yet.

Seeing the memosprite that looked so much like Polyxia in such a tiny form was amusing, she had to admit. It was so cute.

"I can replicate her appearance through the Path of Remembrance. Ah... paths are..." She'd been about to trail off, used to having to explain jargon from her home universe to the unfamiliar. But Firefly seemed to wish to stop her there.

she can't refute that– more often than not, those determined to kill someone will stop at nothing until they succeeded. such a trait was admirable for those considered more heroic in nature. but a thought pops into her head and she nods like something of a wise sage.

" Not if you kill it first." a pause. " Or you kill it before you die. Either way, you win."

" Mmm– wait, Fwirefwy!?" she doesn't meant to butcher the other's names, but there's a grilled kabob half sticking out the side of her mouth, hands full with about two more when her gaze lands on the Stellaron Hunter. in a hurry, she quickly swallows the last remaining bites. too quickly as she ends up coughing a few times while hastily putting the other kabobs back on her plate, pushing it away from the edge of the table she had been seated at.

yes, she will return for those.

a smile grows as Stelle jumps out of her seat, quickly closing the distance between the two. having already come across a handful of familiar faces already, she's not that surprised to see Firefly, just delighted. it's felt like ages since she's seen anyone outside of Amphoreus, so it's gladly welcomed.

⠀⠀⠀VIEWING ⠀art is usually considered a solo activity — that is, unless you came with someone, it's generally something to be done quietly and with full introspection. But if there's one thing Rin's found to be consistently true over the years, it's that rules are meant to be guidelines. Besides that, isn't it only natural to want to share an experience — especially when it's with a girl whose deeply pensive expression only makes her seem more approachable ?

 ⠀⠀⠀❛ ⠀I don't know how they pull it off,⠀ ❜ ⠀Rin pipes up as they find themselves viewing the same ice sculpture, head tilted slightly in sincere wonder. ⠀⠀❛ ⠀Carve something out of what might as well be nothing. It must take a lot of foresight to be able to see the final product out of a hunk of ice.⠀ ❜ ⠀
