I personally love their dynamic, and want to see more situations where the doctor is forced into close proximity with someone he viscerally hates. As a treat.

I think it would have been really interesting if Scott had been the one Legs was trying to save rather than Owen considering Scott’s a ~1400 year old vampire and therefore probably can’t safely be cured in the same way as the other vampires. Bloodloathing AU you will be famous in my mind only.

After ep 7 I feel like it died out? I only saw mentions of this but it’s such a good ship!!! Instead of going for Scott they can kiss each other instead!!! this ship may be fuelled by me and bro flirting in cosplay BUT it’s really good and I need more people to talk abt it

They can literally be as toxic or as non-toxic as you want them to be. Owen was there in the beginning to help Pyro out, they had a bit of a rough patch in the middle, but as soon as they had a common enemy, they started working together. Owen said multiple times after they teamed up that he wanted to kill Pyro, but also, he stood in front of them after they said that they killed Avid.
What’s more beautiful than seeing two fucked up little guys bond over similar yet wildly different pasts after they murder a shared enemy? Also, there is so much potential for them in the afterlife, they could date forever in hell
This might actually fix them, and I am personally of the belief that they should've kissed over Avid's corpse. They also hate each other yet narratively parallel each other. Need I say more?

they’re parallels your honor!! owen sees himself in avid and despises it, avid has to face his own issues in the shape of someone else. they’ve been butting heads since literally the beginning of the series and started out with polar opposite views, and while avid threw himself wholeheartedly into his new circumstances, owen kept clinging to the past.
I also have a post about them. Momma bear Owen is my favorite version/interpretation of him cuz he does care, all the pieces are there. Let him be protective and tsundere about it :3

Avid is desperate for Owen's approval once he's part of the coven, secretly hoping that he'll manage to somehow bury the animosity and actually get close to him. That somehow he can make this work. Owen killing the person he's fallen for because it should've been Louis and no one else. When he drives the stake in, it's the closest they've ever been
