Pyro comes walking up, glass in hand and smile on his face as he approaches the other. "Avid! Good evening. This is quite the event." He praises, lifting his glass to him. "I have to commend you on such great work."

"D'aww," says Avid, grinning as he ducks his head a little bit. "It wasn't all me! Shelby ( @residents-of-oakhurst ) did so much of the work too!" His smile softens. "Thank you, though, Pyro. Glad you're having fun."

He pauses, before adding, "Gosh, you look really nice too. Everyone looks so nice! I don't understand it, how can so many people be so attractive?? Where's it come from?"

📝"Hey @pyrovonscythe? Do you mind helping me with Truffle real quick? I need to clean out his pen so I need ya to make sure he doesn't get himself into trouble." She asked her roommate while moving to get the broom so that way they could get started on cleaning out their pig's pen and get them fresh water and grub. After all, Truffle was just as important as they were in Apo's opinion.

Though Pyro had asked Apo to the dance tonight, It was after he was on his way that he realized they had not talked about a time to meet, or where. He did stop at her room but there was no answer. Had she decided not to come after all? The thought made his non beating heart drop. No.. Maybe she was already on her way there. So he made his way there, walking into the party with his head held high, greeted both new and old faces. But still, his eyes scanned the crowd, glanced to the entrance, waiting for the one person he wanted to see most.

Apo had been struggling a little bit since she too had her own worries on whether or not Pyro would actually be there or not, and since they hadn't coordinated where to meet or if they were going together; she had mainly stayed in one spot since arriving to the masquerade. She had spoken to a few folks since being here, but otherwise still hadn't seen her date. She had a goblet of wine in hand, which had blood in it which made it easier for her to at least... stomach it. Sipping from it slightly, dark eyes flickered across the hall before spotting him; she nearly dropped her goblet when she saw him. Had her heart still been able to beat, it would have gotten faster at seeing him. He... he looked really good. Not to mention, stood out from how he usually dressed. The white was really nice, she'd have to ask him about it when she spoke to him. Although realizing she should approach him, she downed the rest of her drink before making her way through the crowd towards him.

"Pyro you look... Really really good."

She stood before him, her hands folded over one another as to help keep her from fidgeting. Especially since she was still incredibly nervous. But, she was... happy to see him.

"Hey, Apo? I know it's not you first choice, to side with us. But, I'm still here for you, If you need."

📝She can feel her jaw clench slightly, she was still trying to adjust to... everything. Since even though she had come here, she still felt on edge. And she had a feeling she would for quite sometime, after all, she is well aware that they didn't have to accept her. So when @pyrovonscythe offered to show her around, she was hoping that someone else would come with them, so it wouldn't just be the two of them- but... here they were. "...It's... going to take some time before I believe you again..." She murmured not looking at them, her arms were wrapped around herself as the pair walked through the crypt.

"Shelby? Hey are you here?" Pyro calls out, moving quickly through he halls of the castle. He's sure she is, after all she's one of the ones who organized this whole thing. "I know you're probably busy but i could really use your help right now!" [Pyrovonscythe]

🔭The young vampire was currently setting up candles to make it look like they were floating by placing them atop a single piece of glass. She was in her bat form, which meant she could hear Pyro quite easily. So when he asked her if she was hear, she gave a squeak in response before flying down once setting the candles up. Shifting back into her humanoid form, she lightly brushed out her skirt before quickly making her way to where she could hear him. "Yup! Just a minute!" It takes her no time at all to locate him, coming to a stop in front of him with a smile. "Hey! Hi. What is it you need?" Of course she had no idea how the proposal went between him and Apo, yet but she had a feeling... that this was about it.
