Some fun facts about them:

They're completely mute

They have minor magic thats good for small tasks (moving objects, creating subtitles, lighting candles, etc)

They're very sensitive to light but have excellent night vision

Other magics include minor shapeshifting and the ability to travel through shadows

They're very handy and like to take things apart to see how they work

They're very shy yet come across as grumpy and distant thanks to the physical appearance and aforementioned mute-ness
