There she is! Pyxsi is the grandniece of Councilor Haia, and while her great-aunt took her in when she was very young and raised her like her own, the pair has an intensely vitriolic relationship... especially since Pyxsi figured out Haia arranged the deaths of her parents and grandparents in order to take her in.

Pyxsi has never been able to tie her grandaunt to the deaths of her family with enough proof to take it to court, but she basically decided she would be her own personal hell as a result. Haia suspects Pyxsi has figured her out but can't tie her niece to the constant interference in her plans and it would look bad if her only surviving family died at random.

The two are at a bit of a stalemate.

Pyxsi was born without her left arm, and from a young age started working out how to use her magic to create a prosthesis. Using the mesmer magic she started to become quite proficient with and arcane crystals, she developed a mesmer construct she's used for years. More recently, she's been experimenting with bloodstone, which is more dangerous but much more potent.

I need to talk more about Pyxsi.

She's the great grandniece of Councilor Haia and, when she was around 14 or 15, figured out her great aunt orchestrated the "accidents" that killed her parents and grandparents. Since then, she's been doing everything in her power to finally get her caught and dealt with... no matter what that entails.

Pyxsi is an extremely talented mesmer and uses her magic to create a hard illusion prosthesis for her left arm, since she was born without it. She doesn't usually keep the magic active if she doesn't need it, as it's a draw on resources, but she can do a lot of things with it, including summoning an arm with a sword instead of a hand.

While everything was going down in the Horn of Maguuma, Pyxsi had pulled her college best friend (and retired commander) Rissia in to help her on a project. She'd started pulling a thread, and in the process had discovered a way to finally take down her aunt.

And take down they did. But with Haia finally arrested for her laundry list of crimes, one question opens up that she floats with Rissia: who should they angle for the now open council seat?

And it just so happens Zojja came home from Amnytas and is on an extended vacation a skip away from Rissia's little sister in Cantha...

Should You Fight My Characters 2.0

I have an older one, but I wanted to do an update with some of my newer toons!

Xeonna the Lost

Probably the least recommended. She lost everything when Rata Novus fell and is a stranger in a strange time. She will fight with everything she's worth, especially for the people who are now in her life. You can try, of course, but she goes for the knees and has zero reservations about biting.

Infiltrator Leyya

She isn't one who really likes to fight these days, but if she's threatened (or if Zojja is), she makes for a formidable opponent. Low self esteem, so you could probably break her down if you really wanted to, but that could leave you open to her secret weapon. It'd be a close fight, but do so at your own risk.

Technomancer Rhenn

It's like enrichment for him! Highly encouraged! He enjoys a good spar, and will really throw himself into a fight. You'd have a hell of a time, but I can guarantee you'd at least have fun. And if you win, maybe it'll take him down a few pegs.

Naqai

Naqai is only nineteen as of the current story and pretty inexperienced, so you'd probably win. However, she is nineteen and has more scathing remarks up her sleeves than you could ever imagine, and your ego would be devastated perhaps beyond recovery. You'd lose either way, all things considered.

Pyxsi

One hundred percent do NOT recommend. This girl was raised by her grandaunt, one of the most vicious, ruthless, conniving councilors in Rata Sum, one who isn't above murder. And Pyxsi isnt' either. You wouldn't even get to the fight before you wound up with a one way ticket to the bottom of the valley under the city.

Mender Kippa

I mean, you could. You'd probably even win. But imagine the emotional toll.

I'm not sure yet how Pyxsi and Butch met, but they're definitely dating, and it pisses off Pyxsi's grand-aunt something FIERCE.

Pyxsi is one of my MOST off-model characters if only because of her mesmer magic prosthesis. And her very long hair because I wanted her to have long hair.
