8. What time are you most productive?
I’ve gotten to that stage in life where I’ve realized that creativity isn’t something that comes to me in the spare moment. It’s not an all-powerful event, and my brain just shuts off otherwise.
I just need to know that I “have to write”, and that’s that really. There’s like no ‘time’ I’m most productive, but probably when I’m awake, haha, I suppose. Takes me always a little time to gather my shit together, besides I’ve got to not be working.
It’s frustrating because society these days tries to imply that creativity is like so important, but doesn’t take into account - cleaning - paying bills - maintaining your every day life - friendships - work events - love. Honestly, we hardly have time to do every mundane task/work besides the cool stuff.
We all of us cannot afford someone to take care of those mundane daily activities, so that’s why it’s important we stop punishing ourselves for not managing to do so much in a day.
Just TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF, and do what you can/are able to. Never punish yourself for falling short of society’s - or your own expectations.

38. Do you reread your own stories?
Yes, I am that bitch. I’m super forgetful. You’ve no idea. And then I’m like MY GOD I WROTE THAT? Wow. It’s good in a way, because then I look back being like impressed by my past-self. And comparing yourself to yourself is a good thing. Of course, past-me had more time on her hands and stayed willingly in-doors. Me currently, yeah, she ain’t got time for shit.
