So, presenting

Wip Whursday: Visor from Quake III edition (growls lustily)

This one is going to be glorious I promise. High effort piece. I intend to use it as the key illustration for a new website layout for Rigelatin, my fansite collective, which I'm making as part of the Our Kingdoms Eternal site marathon (fansite folks, look at this, you might want to join!).

And the version of the artwork that will go on Rigelatin will be animated and interactive! The clouds in the background will move, the chains will wiggle, Visor will move slightly, and a lot more things that I won't spoil.

Also you can already see it a little but somewhere in the pile of skulls and bones there is also my pelvis with a rocket launcher stuck in the --

This one is just a relax sketch that I'm finalizing. I'll fix the hand and the ears and then I think I'll bring it to Rebelle to color it with the watercolor brushes.

What I've been referring obliquely as "my fanfiction about Visor from Quake" is now complete and formatted and ready to read.

Summary: A genetic experiment results in the glorious creation of a monster. The experiment is so successful that all those involved lose sight of its purpose. Notes: A little bit Quake III: Arena and Quake Champions fanfiction. A little. In reality it's more like a story inspired by the concept of the character of Visor than by either version of Visor, and the majority of the worldbuilding and the details are original fiction. Definitely readable by anyone regardless of familiarity. Every character other than Visor is original, for the purpose of this story. Genre: Sci-fi, horror Word count: 4171 Status: Single chapter; complete Warnings: General genre and setting
