I loved Apprentice and it really sums up to me your approach to canon, in terms of really analysing the characters and their motivations and thinking about the real life effects of their experiences, which sometimes doesn't happen. the scene that really stuck with me is the one where Taako holds something out for Lup to grab unthinkingly, but of course she isn't there. It was like a little light bulb for me in that I hadn't really considered how his subconscious would react to the loss of Lup. so that was a really awesome thing you opened my eyes to, and that just shows you how powerful your fic can be.
