hmm. 

A year before entering U.A., Bakugou Katsuki had been told he was the ‘Most Likely to Become a Hero’ of the entire middle school class. He had the drive. He had the strength. He had the right Quirk. 

And for many years before that, Katsuki had told Deku that he was the most likely to end up dead. Deku’s dreams were pointless. He was weak. He didn’t have a Quirk at all. 

A Quirkless hero is not a hero at all. Being Quirkless, Katsuki used to think, is about the same as being dead. The universe’s grand idea of a joke. 

Here’s the punchline, though—

One of them ended up being a hero. The other ended up Quirkless. 

Katsuki’s not the hero.
