Hello, World
"HELLO, WORLD is a coming-of-age film about two socially-awkward teenage boys and their fun misadventures toward adulthood, one summer before college."
SYNOPSIS: Childhood friends JEFF and JOHANN are fresh out of high school boys who wanted to experience the most out of their lives before they enter college. Their series of silly and awkward encounters and experimentation – a crazy mix of young love, underage drinking and exploration of sexuality lead them both to a realization of their own maturity.
Written and directed by Joel Ferrer for Quezon City Film Festival - first film festival in Quezon City. A simple and fun story with a heart.
This is also the first film (after film school) I'm under the Art Department and not the Camera Department and so far, it's sooo much fun! I have a new found love and respect for Production Design now. It's not as simple as I thought it would be. Four days into principal photography, I've already learned a lot of new things about production designing from the film's PD Aimee Gamboa.
It's the first production group I've worked with where everybody have fun doing what they love doing most.
(See how much fun we're having? Turning a tracking shot into a train dance.)

Me waiting for the take with Victor Medina (below).
Working with these people are a lot of fun. We'd all unwind after a long day of shoot with coffee (or beer) and spend hours just talking about random things. There's nothing like doing what you love and sharing the experience with people who feel the same.
We still have two shooting days to finish the film, I can't wait to see it on the big screen already.
Support our film, HELLO, WORLD.
