Goose team knew each other for 4 days and had some of the best dynamics and communication I’ve seen in a while, even with language barriers.

The way they immediately elected tubbo to be the leader and then did what he asked without question. There was an inherent respect for him, his past experiences and his leadership from the get go.

But the rest of the team also didn’t feel like they couldn’t offer opinions or alternate ideas, they would constantly bring up ideas or other routs for tasks and ask tubbos opinion on them and he never once made anyone feel stupid for having a less then optimal idea.

They also had such a natural and comfortable air when they were with each other and could make jokes and poke fun at each other like they were king time friends.

I also want to point out how the team was so excited to learn about each others cultures and language from each other. The amount of times they would ask a question on food or entertainment or how to say something was so sweet. There was also such a casual feeling with that and both English and Portuguese speakers could poke fun at mispronounced words or out of place words.

The way they all called tubbo coach as a form of respect to his past as the soulfire coach but making it their own by calling him mama coach.

They met as strangers and left as family

Tubbo didn’t actually know if he would be sent home after purgatory. The other losing teams could have been killed after for all he knows.

So I don’t think he was taken back easily, when the eye workers showed up to take him back he stood in front of his team and took what could have been his final stand. He fought them with everything he had to ensure the safety of his team.

Eventually, enough workers showed up to subdue and restrain him only for his team to go ballistic and demand they let him go.

It isn’t until things start getting bloody in his teams end that tubbo calls for them to stop and struggles harder against the workers that hold him back.

He agrees to go peacefully if his team is granted safety and even though he has no was of ensuring it, he doesn’t want to watch his family lose their life over his own.

As he’s being taken back to the boat and away from his screaming goslings, he think about how even if this is the end it would be worth it to have lead a team like theirs.
