Quiet in the Library || Eden and Jacob
It was always peaceful in the library as far as Eden knew. Even though he was on a college campus, it was always quiet and relatively empty. ...Well, such was the life of attending a small college. Not that Eden really minded, though- he liked being able to sleep just about anywhere (and even though he really could sleep anywhere, it was easier when it was quiet).
This morning, though, the library was much fuller than usual. For a few moments, the bluenette wondered why, but then he realized that midterms were quickly approaching and not everyone was as remarkably un-diligent as he was. Well, at least his table was free, so nothing else really mattered. Within minutes of sitting down, the teen had slipped into a peaceful slumber, his head resting on a pile of books (he found he was woken less often when people thought he’d fallen asleep while reading).
But then something strange happened. The delicious scent of biscuits began to pervade his dreams, and as his stomach began to rumble hungrily for the breakfast treats, Eden blearily opened his eyes.
“...Biscuits.” The wolf’s voice was soft and riddled with traces of sleep as he slowly extended his hand. He didn’t know who had sat down at his table or whose biscuits they were, but they were sitting at his table. With biscuits.
“Biscuits?” He yawned that time, vaguely wiggling his fingers in a request for food. “Biscuits,” he repeated, more strongly that time, like he’d somehow voiced an intelligent reason for the stranger to share their food.
