thesis is that dog life was the worst actually.

Life 1: classic. We all know how it ends we are all familiar. Life 2: bug's life. Much has been said about how this life was warm and then nothing. We do not actually know how long it was, other than short. This is a fluke. This is a false start. It doesn't..it doesn't mean anything going forward. Next time will Life 3: dog life. This is the most hopeful life to me. He is a beloved little doggy, famous for being the most loyal, most loving, and most beloved pets. I think he was the most happy and content and trusting here. And then he gets eaten?? I think the betrayal in dog life makes it actually the worst life lived you can quote me on that. Life 4: plant life. It is unclear how much awareness plants actually hold. Certainly plants have senses. They know a lot actually and they can do more than you think. A plant with a real life soul is also going to be far more aware than a standard plant. Many plants can also handle a lot more neglect than you might think. I think the big tragedy of this life was how drawn out it was. Exactly how much suffering we are experiencing. Life 5: fox life. The trust from bug life and dog life are all gone. He is a wild animal and has all those wild animal fear of human instincts naturally. Getting sk1nned and turned into a coat is not the worst thing that has ever happened to him but man. Life 6: rock life. At this point. Just tired. Done. Over it. It's not going to get better. There has been no evidence of this and it is time to stop expecting that there will be. He carries this nihilistic hopelessness through his seventh life.

A contribution for the awesome Qi Ye Week 2024! Day 3: Food and Alcohol. This "little" piece is inspired from chapter 29's crazy brothel scene which I have been recently translating. It was such an inspiring chaos that I had to try and illustrate it. It's been a bit of a struggle to motivate myself to finish it, but I'm glad I managed to. Many thanks to Seb and Kat for the support. Jing Beiyuan is currently playing drunk alongside Zhou Zishu and He Yunxing, Wuxi is being harassed by a rude courtesan, the young courtesan that Beiyuan picked himself is incredibly embarrassed by him, and Su Qingluan, Ping'an and Axinlai are......... there, exasperated by the whole scene.
