Call for online ESL teachers & tutors!
Some of you may already know that I work as a Freelance ESL tutor for Qkids teaching English to young learners in China. I started doing this two years ago when my ex-husband announced he wanted a divorce. I was not making enough money as an artist / influencer to support myself so I needed to find some other work. Qkids has helped me to be able to support myself financially along with occasional illustration work and influencer contracts. I am not rich, but I am happy. I get to work from the comfort of my own home tutoring amazing students from the other side of the globe. It’s hands down the best job I have ever had and I hope to keep doing it for as long as I possibly can.
Qkids is an amazing company for many reasons. One of them being that they are currently offering FREE classes to students in response to the current Coronavirus outbreak in China. The company graciously opened up extra online classes for free so that students can continue to study while staying at home. They’ve got more than they can handle right now and many if not all of the teachers and tutors (myself included) have stepped up and taken on extra hours.
With the surge of students wanting to continue study at home during this time, Qkids is short on teachers and are looking for new applicants. If you’d like to join the Qkids family and teach online, the requirements for applying are:
Eligible to legally work in the U.S. or Canada

Traditional teaching licenses or online certificates (TESOL, TEFL,CELTA, ESL) required
